Hi!

I am on holiday now. I am enjoying my holiday. I am in the guest house now with Upendo, Christina, Mama Theresa, and Courtney. We are all working on our blogs. Three weeks ago we went on a trip to Kinukamoli. It was a fun trip. We are so happy that Mama Theresa is back again. We love her and we miss her when she is gone. Today we are going to have fun with reading textbooks, swimming at the YMCA, and drawing pictures in the guest house. Mama Theresa helps us with education and clothing. Thank you Mama!

Jambo!

I am now on holiday, school closed just yesterday.!

I am enjoying my holiday very much, next week i am going to my village spending some time with my relatives and village friends, i am so excited to see them again next week.

I have been going swimming, playing football and riding bicycles at the center.

we recently had a trip to lake chala which was awesome. Lake Chala is at the border of Tanzania and Kenya. the trip was very interesting and i will never forget the experience.

I enjoyed spending time with the last group of volunteers; Barbra, Kerry, Karen and Jennifer they just left. I love seeing pictures of Barack Obama since they are almost every where in Tanzania. I love wearing clothes & shoes with Barack Obama labels on them.

Joseph is always making a difference, especially with his dance moves! While volunteers, Pat and Lyne, came to visit, Joseph really took the stage and showed us his talent! He had all sorts of good moves from break dancing, to hip hop, to the local dance with the khanga.

Joseph with his khanga!

Hi Joseph, I enjoy reading your blog. I like the blog as it’s great to see your progress. I hope you had a good Christmas and are doing well in school.

It’s very cold here in Idaho but not much snow. Laura and I spent Christmas here with her son Scott. I went to see my father in New Mexico for his 89th birthday and Brooke my daughter was also there.

All is good and take care and make us proud.

    Best wishes and love,

    Mike
