I am Pat Jorgensen and we are now here in Moshi, Africa and having a great time volunteering for Go Mad Now. It is quite warm but we are getting used to it – probably around 90 degrees or so. Walking into town mid morning tells us we should have left earlier!!! The children are wonderful – hard to say good-bye each day as we leave. We are reading with them, doing crafts and playing outside. They look forward to us coming each day (they are out of school at 4:00) At this time there 12 boys and three girls and it is definitely easy to please them! We have had a few side trips and plan to hike the bottom of Kilimanjaro tomorrow. I am excited to be able to share some thoughts as it would be great if everyone could experience these children. I am new at blogging and plan to share as much as possible while I am here.
